The Solar Sales Pipeline
Solar Energy
Every quote request reaches the right salesperson, on time.
© 2026
A connected sales pipeline that collects every quote request from email, the website and ads, sorts it by project status, assigns it to a salesperson, and starts each day with a prioritized call list.
(Challenge)
This solar installer received many quote requests every month, but nobody owned them. Leads were picked up by whoever had time, and some waited up to 3 days for a first reply. By then, the customer had often moved on to another installer. Lead data sat in Windows folders and scattered Excel sheets, and past customers were never contacted again. They needed every request handled quickly, in the right order, and in one place.
(Research)
I mapped how a quote request travels from the first email or form to a signed contract, and found no clear ownership, slow and inconsistent follow-up, lead data spread across folders and spreadsheets, and no contact with customers after installation.
(Solution)
I connected Pipedrive, n8n and Claude into one pipeline. Every request from email, the website and ads lands in Pipedrive automatically. Claude reads it, sorts the project into the right status and assigns it to a salesperson, who takes it all the way to the contract. Every morning, each salesperson gets a priority list of who to contact first. The same foundation is ready for the next steps: automatic quotes and contracts, and yearly and half-yearly campaigns for upsells and maintenance reminders to existing customers.
