An AI-powered screening workflow that reads incoming applications, extracts candidate data, evaluates job fit, and gives recruiters a prioritized shortlist.
(Challenge)
The online recruitment agency received hundreds of applications per role through its job ads and spent most of the week reading CVs and copying data into its applicant tracking system. Good candidates waited days for an answer, and some accepted other offers in the meantime.
(Research)
I mapped the screening process and found recruiters repeatedly reading CVs, transferring candidate data, checking requirements, and manually building shortlists.
(Solution)
Over 3 weeks I connected n8n, OpenAI, Greenhouse and Airtable into one screening pipeline. AI extracts and structures every application, evaluates candidates against defined criteria, flags missing requirements and scores fit. The results sync straight into Greenhouse, and Airtable gives the recruiters a clear overview of every candidate.
